Walking through Boston

Now the weather is getting a little bit better, it is time to take a walk through Boston. So now some streetscenes from Boston business district.
One of the things you'll notice here are the many boxes with newspapers in them. It gives all kinds of these newspapers. One you all probably know is the metro. For the rest there are a lot of careermagazines, some more leftish newspapers and of course the regular newspapers for which you have to pay.
The business districts of course means a lot of impressive office buildings. Not much culture here. The Fleet bank is the biggest bank in Boston, and if I am correct also in New England. Everywhere you look, fleet bank owns something.
After a relaxing stroll through the businessdistrict you can cross the bridge to the airport and harborarea. Here I passed the Boston teaparty museum, which unfortunately was closed when I passed it.
One of the nice things about America is that you can discover that your stereotyping is really true. So here is the obligatory police in front of a donutshop :).
As I probably have told everyone before, Boston has a lot in common with Maastricht. See here, the big dig. Just as Maastricht is giving the city a complete overhaul, Boston is doing the same with its infrastructure, to the annoyance of many of its motorists.
But enough for now, the weather is getting warmer, so maybe I'll have some more nice photo's next week.

Hoi Tom,
Aangezien thee positief is en zeer geliefd onder (een deel van de) Let's Dance!-leden verwachten we natuurlijk wel dat je nog een keertje bij de teaparty gaat kijken als het geopend is ;)
Verder vraag ik me af of ze nu in Boston ook van plan zijn om een groot reuzenrat boven het dichtgemaakte gat te plaatsen als het zover is... Maar ehm, zijn gaten de enige overeenkomsten of kunnen we nog meer vergelijkende foto's verwachten?
